Societe Generale Research discusses the current conditions of the financial markets.
"There are more questions about what's NOT happening in markets than about what is going on. Why didn't Mario Draghi's admission of downside economic surprises weaken the euro? And why didn't the end of the US government shutdown give Treasury yields a nudge higher?," SocGen notes.
"Markets are in limbo, waiting for new news and with the FOMC and the payroll data due later this week, there's plenty coming down the pipe on the US side of the Atlantic. Whereas in Europe, maybe the ECB President is merely acknowledging what we all know already," SocGen adds.
