USD/JPY - Does A Little Fade, JPY Crosses Mostly Stay Buoyant

• USD/JPY faded a bit in Asia as seems to be the recent wont

• From 145.24 early to 144.57 EBS, back out of 144.99-145.55 daily Ichi cloud

• Ichimoku cloud now working as a pivot of sorts, base down to 144.34 July 1

• USD/JPY also below 144.98-146.26 hourly Ichimoku cloud, base falling too

• Hourly chart shows pair trading down with base yesterday, clear of base now

• Thin on option expiry front today - 144.95-145.00 $524 mln, 146.00 $469 mln

• JPY crosses also remained mostly better bid too, as also the recent wont

• EUR/JPY 169.02-34 EBS and buoyant, just below 169.68 high Tuesday

• High Tuesday best since 171.05 on July 23, 2024

• EUR/CHF off bit from 180.72/75 double top Monday/Wednesday but bid @180.09

• GBP/JPY 197.94-198.52 and on hold below yesterday's 198.57 high

• High yesterday best since 198.94/95 double top December 19/30 2024

• AUD/JPY still sideways, 94.20-59, still between 93.30/96.02 100/200-DMAs
